LOL, I like it. I want a Twilight related tattoo and a MI one,too - but nothing that big. I've seen a back tattoo of the cover of New Moon, that one was pretty.

i agree. granted i have read the books, enjoyed them (new moon was even my favorite) and gone to see both movies on opening night. but i do realize the unhealthy relationship between the two, and even while watching new moon last night i found myself thinking "obession" in a few scenes.

I agree! Initially I loved Twilight but once it got all BIG and over-the-top, I am so over it now. I am not even that excited for New Moon and New Moon is ... or maybe was my fave book in the series.

It's so refreshing to know some people have the same opinion. I try to tell people they have a textbook abusive relationship and yet everyone thinks I'm insane for saying so. Jacob is the only semi rational character in the series (and lord is he fit in the movie lol) but I won't bother seeing it in theatres.

They are trying to compare her writing skill to JK Rowling and say Twilight is bigger than Harry Potter. When I first read Twilight, I had never seen Stephanie Laurens and seriously thought it was written by a 14 year old girl (not a stretch, since Paolini wrote Eragon when he was 15) but then I saw her picture. I was shocked! There's no way she writes like JK! Her writing skills are rudimentary and repetitive, and her characters are all mental!

I absolutely loved the Twilight series...3 years ago before the movie and before it became overexposed like you said. I still love it but not like the Twihards out there, and I know that there are many, many books out there that are way better. And even though I agree that Edward and Bella had an unhealthy relationship, I think the series became so popular because many teens thought they could relate to the story.

Although I think this specific tattoo is a little over the top, I believe to each their own. I personally wouldn't get a tattoo of the Twilight series or any other book that I can think of, but I have considered getting a tattoo representing a TV show I loved. So I can't criticize anyone for their choices.

Wow! I really enjoyed the Twilight books for what they are; quick reads. They should be a quick read for most since they are written at a fourth grade level! Anyways, no not entirely well written, way overexposed, and if I see one more new vampire series on the shelves trying to ride on the coattails of this series I might scream! I never liked the Twilight series on it's own, but there have been worse books written so I never paid it much attention. What makes me HATE the series are the fans, their response to the books, and their reaction to ANY form of criticism, no matter how complimentary. Stephenie Meyer is God, and you're going to Hell if you don't agree.

the hysteria that twilight's created grated my nerves since day one. I just hate how it's been commercialized! Edward and Bella started out having a lovely romance but then it just got twisted and weird as it went on. (he is quite stalkerish...) I can only hope that once The Host movie comes out, the fans won't be too psychotic @___@;

I might have liked the first book when I read it, but I didn't like books 2 & 3 and I never even gave book 4 a glance. They are poorly written and the obsession over the books and now the actors (who all look like someone needs to introduce them to the concept of SOAP) is just sickening.

How all this overexposure is making me dislike the book and I'm almost to the point of getting rid of my series. I thought the novels were okay (definitely have read better) and with each book, well like I said I agree with you.

It is quite ridiculous. Not to mention how the book has totally destroyed vampirism. Once twilight came out, everyone who could pick up and pen came out with a vampire book, making it an almost necessity to need to love them.
